Sam Hollon

Academic Director

Sam is a third-year student studying processes of evolution and adaptation in social systems. Growing up in Austin, Texas, Sam attended a series of small, alternative schools that share much in common with Quest, in particular, programs that empower students to direct their own learning, work creatively on challenging projects, and collaborate closely with tutors who love and excel at teaching. Through his work at QUSA, Sam aims to advance a similarly alternative vision at Quest—one in which every student is supported in traveling down a unique path of inquiry, learning, and growth. In his spare time, you can find Sam watching and performing improv theater, designing tabletop and board games, and enjoying long conversations with friends.

Sam prefers he/him pronouns.
