Sustainabilty Summit
The Sustainability Summit is an annual evening event put on by the Student Environmental Committee (SEC). The goal of this event is to facilitate a space to bring the Sea to Sky Corridor, Squamish, and the Quest communities together to discuss environmental concerns in our local area. The keynote speaker will address the evenings theme, which will be followed by table group discussions. After the event, the organizers of the Sustainability Summit will construct a document with an outline of all the conversations and ideas produced, which will then be made public to the participants. Students are welcome and encouraged to participate in the evening discussions. The event always needs volunteers for planning and organizing. To become more involved students can come to the SEC’s weekly meetings.
